Rose Sinclair
Lone Star Landing

Rose's personal message about the meaning of this project: "My steel guitar and I arrived in Austin on 11/13/11 and knew we had landed where we needed to be." And Austin is all the richer for having her here. Rose was already well known on the East coast for rockabilly, Cajun, big band, jazz swing genres. But she was itching to surround herself with and learn the nuances of Western Swing. This CD is an excellent example of the infusion of all.Her steel is front and center, presenting you her favorite swinging standards -- Texas style! A Smooth One, Jersey Bounce, Nuages, Tony's Tempo, Tenderly and Panhandle Rag.
